Pickup and drive to Aguergour
From Marrakech out to the Aguergour flying area in the Atlas foothills south-west of the city, on the edge of the Agafay desert zone. The outing takes about half a day in total.
Ground briefing with your pilot
You meet your tandem pilot, get fitted with harness and helmet, and go through how the takeoff works: a few running steps down the slope until the wing carries you. No experience is needed.

- Warm layers for the dawn — even in summer the early morning is cool, and in the winter months a Marrakech dawn sits around 4–7 °C; the burner warms only whoever stands right under it

Do I need any experience to fly tandem?
None. The pilot flies the wing; your entire job is the briefing and a few running steps down the slope at takeoff until the wing lifts you both. You then sit in the tandem harness in front of the pilot for the whole flight. If you can jog a few metres, you can do this.
How likely is a cancellation for wind?
Paragliding lives on the day's wind even more directly than the balloon: the pilots decide on site, and they may wait for the right window, move the slot within the day, or postpone altogether. That is normal in this sport and it is the correct call — a pilot who launches in the wrong wind is not one you want to be strapped to.
What happens if the flight is called off?
